For this reason it can also be a quick process as you can be sat at your kitchen table leafing through the paper and within minutes you could have replied directly to a number of job postings.

It is a good source of employment as you can find a job without the complications of a middle man. For the employer it is an effective method as all of their fees have been paid for with the advert whereas with agencies there is often an element of negotiation that can put you as the new employee in a difficult position.

Agencies can be a frustrating way to find a job but they also boast a number of benefits that make life easier for the job seeker. Firstly these days the majority of jobs are posted through them. The job centre is a great source of new jobs as it offers a free service to both employers and jobseekers. Situated in most high streets the job centres can be accessed by anyone regardless of whether or not you have the internet and most centres have computers from which you can print off job details and subsequently apply.
