The Basics Of All Types Of Marketing
Marketing is actually a very creative process. It includes the basic use of marketing mix i.e. the concept of 4Ps of price, place, product and promotion. Recently, the concept is extended to 7Ps. Process, people and presence are included in this. The right mixing and execution of these concepts enhances sales possibilities.
The Market Research aims at realizing the wants of its customers in the near future and preparing in advance to satisfy its needs. In marketing management, the values of products and services are fixed, taking into consideration the surrounding competition. This is known as giving value to your service. If you are better off than others due to some specific reasons, you get the Competitive advantage. So you can claim a higher value.
Marketing can be of two types:
1. Strategic-
Due to the increase in competition, one has to strategize the ways of marketing, so as to gain more consumer attention than others. One has to take into consideration the highs and lows of every competitor and plan the marketing ways accordingly.
2. Operational-
In this kind of marketing, one has to find out what the consumer expects, market and promote in such a way so that the needs of the consumer are fulfilled and he is satisfied with your services.
In marketing, certain strategies are followed like:
A vision and mission are set and goals to achieve in a given period are determined.
The ways of tapping customers are planned. How much is to be Told to him, when, in what manner so that he is convinced is decided.
Successful businessmen never miss an opportunity to distribute their business cards.
When you have a client, try to build and maintain a relation with him along with attracting new clients.
Marketing also extends to designing of the product, packaging, design and use of the trademarks, the different methods of selling and communication with the customer. The prices are fixed with demand, competition, market value and one's position in the market. The method s of selling can be direct or indirect depending on whether middlemen like wholesalers and retailers are to be involved or no. Business dealers then communicate with the market to make their goods known and to increase its demand. The company actually focuses on the wants of the customer and this type of marketing is known as SIVA i.e. Solution, Information, Value and Access. This is actually the word replacement for the 4Ps. The Public relations of the manufacturer is the final means of increasing sales.
The secret behind steady marketing is consistency and regularity in innovative marketing ways.
