Exercise Can Make You Gain Weight
People are adjusting their eating around slight differences in their weight. They also misunderstand what exercise can do to their body. Exercise will tone their body. Exercise will build muscle. Exercise will give them a far better body, than they have had before.
People assume that they are going to look like a body builder if they exercise. That again isn't true. They will have a better body, but it won't be a body builders' body.
The other thing people don't realize is that exercise will create muscle. Muscle weighs heavier than fat. Yes you read that correctly, muscle weighs heavier than fat.
As you get into regular exercise you will find yourself building more and more muscle, and you will have a gain of weight at times. The scales are not a good way to measure your progress. Keep using the scales and you will soon become depressed. Grab a tape measure and see those inches being lost. Put on those favorite pants and see how loose they have become. They might even fall down on their own, because you have toned up so much, and lost weight.
Exercise won't make you bigger. That is a myth that needs to be broken. Exercise will tone your body; no longer will parts of your body bounce around which should bounce. No longer will you have rolls of fat, as these become nice and tight as you get toned. You will not only look better but you will feel better.
Your whole deportment changes as you walk taller. As you stand tall you instantly look like you have lost a few inches. You confidence will grow, and suddenly you will laugh at how concerned you were about gaining an ounce here, or an ounce there.
Learn to know that the scales do and will lie about your weight loss. Let the tape be true, and the way you have to wear new clothes as you buy smaller and smaller sizes. Exercise won't make you bigger. Exercise will give you a body to be proud of.
