It slowly levels out at around the 300 mark, and that means our best bang for the buck is to find a doctor that has performed at least 300 operations.

Another aspect of cost to keep in mind when looking for a lasik eye surgery provider is that cost of living in the area that the provider's office is located is a player as well. Lasik eye surgery is more expensive in areas where the cost of living is more. To translate, a doctor in an expensive part of town will charge more than on in an area of average or moderate means. Is the more expensive doctor better? Probably not, so make sure you know his or her experience level and you know what you're getting for your hard-earned dollar.
