There are several things other than genetic makeup that can contribute to the development of allergies and their symptoms. Bee stings, pets, pollution, foods, fibers, and mold are just several of the things that can cause bad reactions in some people.
The seriousness of exposure to mold spores has lately become a much spoken of subject. While a lot of individuals may have a terrible allergy to mold, even those who are not normally made ill by any allergies can have a severe reaction to toxic mold. If you find mold developing some place in your living space, it should be killed immediately. Sanitize the place completely with a disinfectant such as chlorine bleach, borax, vinegar, or another mold killing product. Take care of any water leaking pipes or fixtures and scrub the spots with disinfectant. Try to locate and fix the cause of moisture in a basement or attic.
Preventing mold in the home before it takes hold is one of the smartest ways to prevent your family from being exposed to mold and developing allergies related to them.
