Fat Loss Made Possible
By taking a look at some of the strongest people in the world, they may weigh a lot but I fact they are also very healthy due to their low fat levels on their body. Fat is basically a battery for the storage of emergency energy the body thinks it may need. For this reason, having 0% body fat is not possible. But having too much body fat is what has been commonly referred to as being obese.
You are considered to be obese once the level of fat in your body has reached 30%. This of course is based on a calculation that takes in your height as well as your weight. For some men, it is completely healthy to weigh more than 200 pounds if the amount of fat is still relatively low.
In order to loose this excess fat, there are two important things that you need to keep in mind. First off, you will need to reduce the amount of calories you intake on a daily basis. The amount of calories you can ingest is dependant on the muscle mass in you body as the muscles are what burns majority of the energy produced by these calories. Furthermore, at the same time increasing your intake of high in protein foods will help you to develop your muscle mass which will aide in the burning off of your fat reserves at a quicker rate.
The truth is that because muscles weigh more than fat, and the simple fact that you will need to increase your muscle mass in order to loose that excess fat will mean that you will actually increase in weight before you start to slim out.
Increasing your protein intake though has its disadvantages. You have to remember that in order to burn off your excessive fat, you need to build your muscle mass which requires protein, but if you do not exercise and use that increased protein, the muscles can not increase in mass and therefore you are just hurting yourself more.
Increasing you intake of fibrous foods will also help in the loss of excess fats as they will help to strengthen your digestive system which in turn will help to convert food to energy and remove the waste material easier.
All of these combined will help you to build the muscle mass necessary to burn off those unwanted fat reserves.
