For those who want to mount the TV on a flat wall and would like the TV to be as close to the wall as possible then the flat mount is ideal.

Cantilever mounts are often used to go across a corner of a room or where the TV viewing angle needs to be altered so it can be seen in 2 rooms such as a lounge and dining room.

Ceiling TV Mounts

These are generally used by businesses rather than homes and you will often see Plasma TVs suspended from the ceiling in supermarkets advertising products. Also they are frequently used in leisure centres, nightclubs, bars and pubs as it keeps the screen out of touching distance and gives everyone the best view of the screen.
