Babysitter Found Drunk With 3 Year Old

Lexie is a 25 year old mother. She has a 3 year old son named Jason. She is also a career woman. She divorced the year her son was born. She has a babysitter that she trusts very much. Her son took a liking to her right away. She is 20 years old and is working her way through college.

She uses the money from the babysitting jobs to help pay her tuition. Until recently, Lexie has never experienced any problems with the babysitter. She noticed that lately, her son was not too enthusiastic when the baby sitter arrived. In fact, on several occasions he would burst into tears and tried to go to work with her.

At first, she thought it was just a phase he was going through. Then it started to happen more often. She began to wonder what was wrong. Her sitter seemed like the same old sitter she had always knew. Her son was not sick, so she wondered what was wrong. One day she was about to leave for work when the babysitter arrived. Jason grabbed her leg and would not let go.

They finally got him to let go, but he was still crying when she left for work. When she arrive at work, she could not help wondering why Jason was so upset. She sat her desk and began to work but she could not concentrate. She decided that she would leave work early and surprise Jason.

She figured she would take him out for a treat and try to get to the bottom of his problem. She usually called the sitter before she left for home, but this time she wanted to surprise Jason. She left for work and headed home. When she got home she used her key to go inside. What she saw shocked her.

The babysitter and a strange man were passed out on the couch. Jason was sitting in the middle of the floor crying. She scooped Jason up and woke the babysitter. The babysitter seemed to be in a daze. The man also woke up. It turns out the babysitter was bringing her boyfriend to the house when Lexie left for work.

They would have a small party and be done by the time Lexie came home from work. While they were partying, they completely ignored the needs of little Jason. Jason had grown tired of this activity and was trying to let his mother know what was going on. Lexie immediately fired the babysitter and threatened to call the police on her boyfriend if he did not leave.

Victimization of any child is unacceptable. Screening your babysitter can eliminate some of the problem. Screening is only meant to give you a hint to a persons ability care for your child. It can not always tell you what baggage might be brought into your childs life after the sitter is hired. Its up to the parent to keep informed on the babysitters activity. You must use all measures at your disposal to keep your child safe.
