Shoes For The Rainy Season

Autumn is right around the corner and when autumn comes, rainy season is not far behind. Be it for you clothes or footwear- everyone has to compromise in terms of dressing up not according to what looks best on them but as per the showers allow them.

What rainy season arrives can be a damper for those that are fashion conscious. But don't fret, for those of you that are truly fashion conscious the challenge that it presents can be fun and sassy. Here are some tips to dealing with the rainy season and still looking good when you're sloshing around.

Fashion lovers can go for slip-resistant sandals with heels but of not more than 2 inches with ankle straps to walk comfortably on slippery and uneven roads. Aside from the ever-popular ballet flats, Crocs has introduced several new models that even fashion-savvy girls will love, so you don't have to squirm every time someone looks at your feet when you're wearing them. Crocs are probably not something that is approved for the workplace so you may want to wear your crocs to work and then have a pair of sandals or work shoes available to switch into. A note about crocs. Make sure you keep an eye on how much sole wear you have on the shoes. Crocs are very slippery when the soul is warned all the way. If it's a very rainy, the option for men could be knee- high gumboots, sport sandals.

If you are sporting a knee-length skirt or a Capri then you can opt for flip-flops or flats provided that it is raining moderately otherwise your legs will be beautified with mud stains. Of course, the smartest choice is to where it covered toe shoes. And if he weren't covered toe shoes, stay away from canvas and light colors.

Shoes such as sports and canvas are a strict no-no for this season. Sport shoes and canvas have a tendency of getting very wet and as a result, there are chances of bacterial growth due to the moisture in the shoe if you don't take the time to try them out completely.

Leather is a better option, but you still run the risk of bacteria if you don't completely air out your shoes and allow them to dry. What's very important about taking care of the shoes when they get wet in addition to making sure they are dry is that you should have shoe care available. The shoe care that you need to have is the normal polish and conditioning. If possible, shell out a few more bucks and buy branded footwear such as Puma, Reebok, Nike, Adidas, Liberty which will not slip from yo well ur feet and are designed to endure such harsh weathers.

The rainy season can be a bummer but you'll survive. If taken optimistically, one can thoroughly enjoy this pleasant weather by following a few guidelines. So, wipe out all those apprehensions from your minds, step out and enjoy the showers!!
