Polish marriage is based on family importance and priority. Although this is the case, there is still marriage that breaks. However, the only difference they have with countries with frequent divorce is that Polish wives generally tend not to remarry. And this only happens to little percentage in Polish marriage. The most common reasons for failure in marriage is the financial aspect. When separation occurs, the women are given more privilege for children custody.

Being more stable, Polish marriage is sought after by foreigners particularly by the male gender. Men from the Western world can rely on Polish women to handle stability of marriage. Polish society is based on belief that women have a great role in ensuring the stability and the happiness of Polish marriage that's why they are mostly the subjects of American male who are looking for a sweetheart outside their country.

Poles are generally family-oriented. They believe in love as the basis for marriage. Together with love are trust, confidence, and care. Once Polish women enter marriage, they know their role as wife and as a mother. They make sure that their husband will be happy and fulfilled. They are also ready to get a job if they need to, just to help their husband meet the financial needs of the family. As with raising kids, the children rely on the affairs of the house with their mothers. Usually, the Polish mother is the one that wakes up early in the morning to prepare her family's food. They are also the ones ensuring that their children are reared in a morally and spiritually upright manner.

Although they should see to it that everything in the family is right and happy, Polish women are not far from educated. Early on their lives, Polish women are given rights to education and professionalism. In effect, they can also work professionally as they need to. They have the ability to balance family life and career. They work for the day but when they come home, they do house hold chores accordingly like cleaning, cooking, and being with the children. Because of this general characteristic in Polish women, men from other places and cultures can be sure that their Polish marriage will last for a lifetime.

The Polish marriage is stable not only because of the religious background of the people in Poland or because of how women are developed. It is also about how the society deals with marriage. The society encourages high importance of family life and one will see it in the affairs of the job and careers. Although some jobs may require tasks that are detrimental to the family, the employers are generally considerate of the family life. In cases when the job is not favorable for the family, the women can always have a choice to quit the job and be a full-time house maker. In fact, a large percentage of married women are full-time housewives. Yet if finances are needed, they can always get a job that is family-life-friendly as they are available in Poland.
