Many brides do not want to consider cutting back and having a budget wedding. However the cost of buying designer wedding dresses and expensive designer wedding cakes can soon lead to friction and arguments between the bride and groom.

Rather than dismiss the idea of cutting back on all your wedding plans, try to keep in mind that there are some fantastic wedding ideas available that do not cost the earth. Quite often you can achieve the same result for far less if you take the time to analyze what items of the wedding are blowing your budget.

Some of the main culprits of upping the cost of the wedding are the wedding dresses, the cakes the venue and the reception. You may have in mind a particular designer wedding dress which is obviously going to cost more than one off the shelf which would be equally good enough. It would seem that a lot of suppliers and designers are willing to take advantage of the day in question by hiking their prices by an absurd amount.

It is important when planning your wedding ideas, your wedding dress and all the aspects of your wedding day that having expensive tastes could potentially leave you with years of debt. Being in debt and starting a new life with your partner means you are likely to miss out on other things later on. Will you be able to afford that holiday next year?
