That's why the hotel industry has jumped on the trend recently and modeled its own Extended Stay Hotels (ESH).

The time between Philly and Trenton, for example, is a rather short distance. But in the commuting world and traffic these days time is a constraint. The extended stay concept is quite embraced on the East coast for this reason. Time delays and traffic problems are a usual disruption. A corporate trip to Trenton from Philly using an extended stay apartment would not be unusual. Many extended stay locations in the area would have adequate amenities where even a family could come and stay with the corporate rep if necessary. Looking up locations in Trenton, furnished apartments that serve extended stay seekers are plenty, which makes a livable stay for several to one room.
