Tourist attractions of Cambridge
The oldest college that still exists is Peterhouse, which was founded in 1284. One of the most well known college building is King's College Chapel. Started in 1446 by King Henry VI, the project was completed in 1515 during the reign of King Henry VIII. It is regarded as one of the most impressive college buildings in the city.
Cambridge is known as the Venice of Britain because of its beautiful waters ways and the popular punting on the river Cam. What better way to explore the city than from the water. Relax as you glide across the backs in a chauffeur punt with your own amusing and knowledgeable guide.
Cambridge has attractions all year round to suite any tastes. Cambridge is easy to get to by road, rail or air – just 50 minutes from central London and 20 minutes from London Stansted Airport.
