Oxford, The City of Dreaming Spires, is famous the world over for its University and place in history. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars, who have helped shape the city to become one of the most picturesque in Great Britain.
Today the city is a bustling cosmopolitan town. Still with its grand and ancient University and now home to a growing hi-tech community. This has created a contrasting style of architecture across the city with the traditional and modern sitting side by side.
This mixture of ancient and modern has created a vibrant city with plenty to do for both visitors and residents. Tacking a tour of this ancient city is a must, with so much history there is always something to see and with its truly stunning architecture there will be plenty of photo opportunities too.
