Visiting Currans Hill And Its Surrounds

Currans Hill is close to all major amenities, such as hospitals (Campbelltown Public, Park Central and Macarthur Private), shopping centres (Macarthur Square, Campbelltown Mall, many suburban shopping centres and strips), banks, buses, schools, trains (close to Currans Hill you'll even find an airport!), and most importantly, restaurants! The new Kellicar Lane at Macarthur Square (just a short drive down Narellan Road from Currans Hill) has everything a foodie could want, with steak, international cuisine, coffee and ice cream outlets all plying their trade and calories. And just along the lane you'll find a new cinema complex so the traditional dinner and a movie will all be within a stone's throw from you at Currans Hill.

Currans Hill is surrounded by the suburbs of Smeaton Grange, Narellan and Narellan Vale, Mount Annan, and slightly further afield, Blairmont, Claymore, Eagle Vale, Eschol Park and Kearns. A short drive away from Currans Hill and you'll find the town of Camden, home to Camden Airport. Why not book yourself in for a hot air balloon ride imagine sailing over Currans Hill, peering into the yards and windows of your neighbours, or wafting towards some of the newer housing estates of Blair Athol, Harrington Park or Bridgewater. From Currans Hill, the skies are yours in more than one way: try your hand at gliding, being towed behind a small plane in what amounts to a cockpit with wings and nothing else, then catch the updrafts to stay aloft before coming in for a smooth, engine-free landing. Perhaps you could hire a plane and pilot, and loop-the-loop in the skies above Currans Hill, in an acrobatic flight that is sure to make your head and stomach turn!

If you prefer a more sedate way of spending your savings and time, then consider travelling from Currans Hill along Narellan Road, to the tiny area of Struggletown, where you'll find several shops situated in old homes. One such store is the art gallery home to paintings by renowned Australian artists, another boasts a fine selection of sweets and lollies. And should you over-indulge on the sugar, then on the way back to Currans Hill you'll pass the aquatic centre, where a water aerobics class is sure to get you huffing and puffing (if not a little sweaty, bearing in mind you're in the pool).

Currans Hill is close to it all, while still making you feel as though you're miles from it all. From Currans Hill you can shop in exclusive or boutique stores, catch a helicopter or a train, explore old churches and cemeteries or simply sit in a world famous park and read a book.
